28/08/2559 A.T. Talin's trail.

Postby Midgard DM » Fri Aug 28, 2009 1:50 pm

Special topic. Reserved for Sangraîn Tribe members

Feran dragged his old arse back to the encampment, loosening his arm band now that the safety of the camp was so close by. He could feel the blood flowing back to his lower arm and hand, it tickled and prickled his arm all over.

He looked back to his young son, Talin, who was dragging the carcass of the Sandbreather they had killed.

He looked back across his other shoulder to Mahir, who was explaining the weak points of the creature to his son like he did with many a young member of the tribe and smiled at them.

He had joined them on the hunt because he had wanted to check some of his water traps on the way... and because it might have been the last time he would ever get the chance...

(oops, net pas terug uit egypte ^^)

"And that is how you kill a Sandbreather" Zei Mahir triomfantelijk terwijl hij zijn speer in het zand stak en een kleine pose aannam. "Keep away from its tentacles or else it'll grapple you and bite you with it's beack. Go for the eyes or the gills and if it spits sand in your eyes it'll make a fool of you and get away."

"Mahir. Kom naast me lopen." The man said in a slow distinctive tone. If Mahir complied Feran took up pace so his son would fall behind... and out of earshot. "Mahir. Vriend.

"Kalah's reports on the Longears wasn't very positive. He walked among the ruined remains of the troll tribes in the north, but our patrol parties are keeping lookouts for Longears. Our people have been at war with others in the past. And even then the Trials still went on. It's about survivability Feran. Eluding the enemy is part of that. If your son pays attention to what we teach him he'll survive."
